A couple weeks ago I went to dinner at the Cactus Club Cafe in English Bay with my friend Rose. This was our view of the Bay from our window at the restaurant...
We finished dinner just in time to head outside to watch the sunset:
July 1 was Canada Day, which means little to me other than "FIREWORKS!" Your girl loves fireworks, in case you weren't wise to that. We headed down to Kitsilano Beach to watch the 'works being set off from West Vancouver, across the Bay.
Walking along Vancouver's West End on my way home from a walk to Stanley Park, I had to stop and take a picture of this ivy-covered building:
And just for a dose of self-deprecation, here's a picture David took of me falling off my paddleboard last week:
What sorts of good things have you been capturing lately?
What fun times! Even the paddleboard looks fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI have been dying to get out on a paddleboard! The last few times I've gone kayaking I've spent my time eyeing people on SUPs rather jealously. It looks like tons of fun.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely, btw. I think I'll follow along - blogs that feature the outdoors, photography, and a hint of style are my favorite!
I know what you mean Kelly - I've been eyeing all these local SUPers for the last 2 summers, and it was finally time to go for it myself. And thank you so much for the compliment and for the follow :)
DeleteLinking through from Find Beauty Friday. Love the shots! That sunset is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by Finley! :)
